Role PurposeAnalyse and define current and target state Funds Middle Office processes, data flows, and integrations to support the transition to Charles River SaaS. The role ensures business requirements are accurately translated into clear, technically feasible solutions, addressing the constraints of integration models while maintaining operational continuity for Funds middle office activities. Key Responsibilities
Analyse and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes, data flows, and system integrations.
Work closely with developers and architects to define technical designs and solution specifications.
Assess business and operational impacts of integration model changes, including APIs, MQ, and batch processing.
Produce clear business process flows and system data flow diagrams.
Support delivery through dependency analysis, risk identification, and testing activities.
Engage with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and vendors to ensure solutions are operationally viable and compliant.
Skills and ExperienceEssential
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in financial services.
Strong knowledge of Middle Office trade settlement processes.
Comfortable analysing data using SQL and working with relational databases.
Good understanding of system-to-system integrations, including APIs, MQ, and batch jobs.
Experience producing clear process diagrams, data flows, and technical documentation.
Desirable
Exposure to post-trade processing, reconciliations, or regulatory reporting.
Experience operating in regulated environments with strong controls and governance.
Experience working with Charles River or a similar PMS/OMS platform will be beneficial.
