Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing, driven individual to join our Supply Chain Operations team as a Supply Chain Development Planner. In this role, you will combine operational ownership with strategic project delivery — ensuring inbound supply chain excellence while leading cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance our customer experience. This is the perfect opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of category/sub-category inbound operations, while also driving transformative projects across our UK business and collaborating with global teams. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Development Manager and work closely with Procurement, Technical, and Operations leaders.What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver operational improvement projects from concept to execution, developing clear project plans, milestones, and KPIs to measure impact.

Identify and act on opportunities for efficiency gains, cost savings, and waste reduction, using data to model potential outcomes and guide decision-making.

Analyse complex datasets (Excel mandatory - SQL & Python advantageous) to generate insights, validate solutions, and present findings in a clear, actionable way.

Build and manage supplier relationships, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Gather and apply best practices from international teams and external benchmarks to enhance UK supply chain performance.

Oversee weekly ordering and forecasting processes, anticipating risks, and creating innovative contingency plans.

Work cross-functionally with Inventory, Warehouse, Transport, Planning, Labour Management, Finance, and Marketing to ensure accurate and timely communication.

Champion data-driven continuous improvement, creating a culture of agility and problem-solving across the operation.

Engage with global operations teams to contribute to tool and process improvements across multiple markets.
