Robert Walters - Finance Manager (M&A) - Permanent - Hybrid - Solihull - £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong M&A exposure to support financial leadership, strategic decision-making, and value creation across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in acquisitions, integrations, and ongoing financial management within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Location: Solihull Position: Finance Manager (M&A) Full-Time Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum Working Pattern: Hybrid

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

Lead and support financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support strategic and commercial decisions.

Oversee month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting.

Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to drive financial performance.

Review and improve financial controls, processes, and systems.

Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors and advisors.

Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost optimisation, and value creation across the group.

Key essentials of the Finance Manager

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role with demonstrable M&A exposure.

Strong financial modelling, analysis, and commercial acumen.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Advanced Excel skills.
