Strategic Account Manager Midlands

Are you a commercially driven insurance professional with a track record of building high-value broker relationships and delivering profitable growth?

A leading global insurer is looking to appoint a Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of key broker relationships across a defined UK territory. This is a highly visible role where you'll become the go-to contact for major brokers, driving engagement, identifying opportunities and influencing growth across a broad specialist insurance proposition.

As a Strategic Account Manager you will

  • Managing and developing strategic relationships with key regional and national broker partners.
  • Creating and executing broker development plans that deliver measurable growth.
  • Identifying, converting and supporting complex new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with underwriting, claims and product teams to maximise trading opportunities.
  • Acting as the voice of the market, providing insight on broker activity, competitor movements and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline and delivering against ambitious growth objectives.

As a Strategic Account Manager you will have

  • Experience in commercial insurance distribution, broker development, trading, underwriting or insurer relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of the UK intermediary market and broker landscape.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long-term strategic relationships.
  • Commercially focused with a passion for winning and retaining business.
  • Self-motivated, credible and comfortable operating autonomously within a regional territory.
