The role: What's in the Box
As a Sr. Finance Business Partner for Cost of Goods and Packaging, you will be a core member of the BNL & Nordics Finance Team, reporting directly to the Associate Director of FP&A for Nordics & Benelux. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will serve as the primary finance partner for supply chain, procurement, and distribution centre leadership across both the BNL and Nordics markets.
Based in Amsterdam, you will embed yourself in the operational and commercial detail of our distribution centres, build trusted relationships with procurement and operations counterparts across markets, and translate cost data into clear financial insights for senior stakeholders. Beyond COGs and packaging, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to broader finance projects across the BNL and Nordics region, gaining exposure to the full P&L and a wide range of strategic and operational workstreams.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead COGs and packaging budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close for BNL and Nordics, incorporating inflation, menu mix dynamics, and specification changes.
Variance Analysis & Cost Bridges: Conduct variance analysis and build cost bridges against budget and prior year—decomposing drivers like price inflation, volume, menu mix, waste, and yield loss for executive stakeholders.
Business Partnering: Serve as the primary finance partner to Procurement, Menu Planning, and DC Operations to track supplier pricing, contract renewals, sustainability impacts, and operational performance.
Automated Reporting Suite: Own and continuously improve the regional COGs reporting suite, including theoretical consumption models, cost-per-box assumptions, and DC-level cost tracking.
Data Tooling & Technical Automation: Leverage SQL and Databricks to automate COGs data pipelines and eliminate manual reporting overhead.
Theoretical vs. Actual Benchmarking: Monitor theoretical vs. delivered
