Solution Architect (Pre-sales)

What is The Role

As a Solution Architect (Pre-sales) at Elastic, you help customers and partners design, implement, and optimize solutions using the Elastic Stack. Working closely with our Inside Sales team you act as a technical expert, guiding them through architecture decisions, deployment strategies, and best practices.

What You Will Be Doing

Collaborate with account teams to understand customer requirements.

Conduct technical discovery sessions and solution workshops.

Design architectures for search, observability, and security use cases.

Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.

Assist with deployment planning and configuration.

Provide guidance on scaling, performance tuning, and security.

Document solutions and share technical knowledge internally and externally.

What You Bring

Solid understanding of distributed systems and data indexing/search.

Experience in a technical customer-facing role.

Ability to map business needs to technical solutions.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Fluent in English.

Bonus Points

Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash) or similar technologies.

Experience in observability, security analytics, or enterprise search.

Knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, Java, etc.).

Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component.

Salary ranges are established based on a combination of external market benchmarks, internal pay equity considerations, and the responsibilities and complexity associated with each role. This approach helps ensure consistency across comparable roles while remaining competitive within the relevant labour markets.

The final compensation offered within the applicable range will be determined based on several objective factors, including relevant professional experience, level of skills and expertise, alignment with the role requirements, and the overall scope and complexity of the position.

The typical starting On-Target Earnings range (Base Salary + Variable) for this role is:

€75.400—€119.300 EUR
