Software Developer - PHP

A growing technology services organisation is seeking a talented Software Developer to join its established development team. Supporting a diverse client base across multiple industries, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of cloud-hosted applications, collaborate on innovative projects, and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and business environments.

You'll be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications and SaaS platforms used by both internal and external stakeholders. Working within a cloud-first environment, you'll contribute to architecture discussions, develop new features, troubleshoot complex issues, and support the ongoing delivery of high quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new applications and enhance existing systems

Contribute to solution and architectural design

Review and improve code quality across the development team

Investigate, diagnose and resolve software issues

Support and maintain business-critical applications

Gather and refine technical requirements for new features

Deploy solutions into Azure environments

Collaborate with colleagues and customers to deliver effective outcomes

We're interested in candidates with experience in several of the following areas:

PHP and MySQL, ideally within modern frameworks

C# / ASP.NET, including Blazor or Razor

JavaScript and TypeScript

Microsoft Azure services

SQL and Git version control

MVC frameworks

Python and/or Java

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

A proactive approach with excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

PowerApps

Power Automate (Flow)

Power BI
