Salary: £30,000 - £37,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join one of the most highly regarded employers in the area.

The role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of service charge accounts and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will include

Preparing service charge accounts and year-end reconciliations

Producing budgets and monitoring expenditure against forecast

Reviewing income, expenditure and reserve fund movements

Investigating and resolving service charge queries

Liaising with property managers, clients, auditors and other stakeholders

Ensuring accounts are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

Supporting the wider team during peak periods

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting

About you

Previous experience within a service charge accounting role is essential.

You may already be operating at this level and looking to use your experience within a more supportive, modern and rewarding environment. You will be organised, accurate and confident managing deadlines, with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
