SEO Account Manager OR Technical SEO Manager Full-service digital marketing agency

Manchester based - 2 day per week OR Burscough based - 3 days per week

The Job

Own and manage a portfolio of client SEO & AI Search accounts, driving campaigns that hit KPIs and deliver real ROI.

Build and execute integrated Search strategies across traditional organic and AI search, tailored to each client's goals.

Lead AI Search Optimisation and LLM visibility strategy, helping clients show up across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and beyond.

Act as the main point of contact for your clients, presenting strategy, performance and insight with clarity and confidence.

Coordinate internal teams to keep delivery sharp, efficient and on-brief.

Manage budgets and resourcing carefully, keeping accounts profitable and on-scope.

Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and support new business pitches with SEO insight.

Mentor Digital Marketing Executives and help build a team that's always levelling up.

You

2+ years' hands-on SEO experience, agency or in-house.

A track record of managing SEO accounts and delivering measurable results.

Confident managing client relationships and stakeholders directly.

Strong grasp of on-page, off-page, technical SEO and content strategy.

Comfortable with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz or Sitebulb, and platforms like Google Analytics.

Know how SEO plays with the rest of the marketing mix - PPC, social, content.

A natural communicator who can turn SEO data into a story clients care about.

Organised, analytical, and genuinely client-first.
