To meet this demand, we are looking for passionate technologists to join our growing Industry Solutions Team (IST), a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team. Our objective is to align MongoDB as an industry solution and ensure we understand enterprise clients and their needs to modernize software legacies, transition to modernized solutions, and guide them through continuous data-driven modernization.
The responsibilities of this role include communicating the direction of MongoDB’s platform to customers and industry partner communities via content creation, industry-focused technical demos, leading projects that help drive forward accounts (such as sales enablement, account workshops, internal newsletters, etc.), and more. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a technical background interested in the business solution space, to dive deep into a cross-functional team and be part of one of the fastest growing companies. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn fast and is able to understand the technology we work with, communicate it in a language our customers use, and work with our Industry Consultants and Principals on their projects, taking into consideration the different focal verticals. This role leads towards a consultant role and beyond, with a career trajectory we build out with you, based on your interests and strengths.

What you do at MongoDB
You lead the creation of technical demos, showcasing MongoDB’s capabilities for specific industry-focused use cases
You help generate/deliver content, such as white papers, blogs, webinars, thought leadership, speaking events, etc. that communicates the business value of MongoDB as a leading industry solution
You partner with the rest of the Industry Solutions team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises (i.e customizing solutions, client presentations, client-specific content, etc.)
Assist in Consultant/Principal support of sales through enablement, with activities such as technical discovery, demos, trainings, proof of values, presentations, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across a number of sales opportunities in parallel
You act as a liaison between our team and Marketing, Sales, and Product, playing an active role in MongoDB’s Go-To-Market Strategy
You proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices

As an ideal candidate, you will have
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the tech sector, or relevant technical experience in other sectors
Foundational knowledge of programming (Python & Javascript)
A foundational knowledge of data and/or data engineering (you will become more of an expert on the job!)
A balance of technical knowledge as well as communication/presentation skills
Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries
A diverse experience or interest in multiple industries, such as finance, banking or healthcare (we have a broad range of clients and need to understand their industries to adapt solutions)
The ability to manage and work with multiple stakeholders effectively
A pro-active, self-starter with the drive to learn new skills and become an expert in that field
The ability to travel up to 25% in normal circumstances for conferences, clients, team shadowing, team events, MongoDB events, etc.
