Senior Settlements Analyst
Location: Leeds | Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
We're partnering with a highly respected and growing business in the search for a Senior Settlements Analyst to join their finance team in Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced settlements, trading operations or middle office professional looking to step into a broader role that combines technical expertise, operational leadership and process improvement.
You'll take ownership of thee settlements activities whilst acting as a key point of contact for trading, finance and external counterparties. Alongside day-to-day operational delivery, you'll play a leading role in driving automation, improving controls and supporting the implementation of new commercial arrangements.
Lead day-to-day settlements operations and act as the primary escalation point.
Oversee reconciliations, invoicing, trade checks and month-end activities.
Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies.
Support credit and collateral management activities.
Drive process improvements, automation projects and operational enhancements.
Act as a subject matter expert across settlement calculations, controls and market processes.
Coach and develop junior team members.
Experience within settlements, trading operations, middle office or a similar control-focused environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Experience managing reconciliations, controls and complex operational processes.
The ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
A passion for improving processes and driving operational excellence.
Exposure to energy markets, trading operations or market settlements would be highly advantageous.
