Team description
The Central Product Analytics team sits at the heart of how SumUp understands and improves the experience of millions of merchants using our products every day. This role owns the Engagement domain — covering merchant engagement, product activation, support responses, and navigation across the SuperApp and web dashboard — and is the primary analytics partner for the Engagement product team. Design and evaluate A/B tests: define success metrics, assess statistical validity, and communicate results clearly to product and engineering stakeholders
Create and maintain intuitive dashboards and reusable query templates in Tableau that help teams answer their own questions without always needing an analyst
Partner with product managers to develop and map out KPI trees, identify measurement gaps, and improve the quality and accuracy of engagement tracking across the domain

Proven experience as a Data or Product Analyst, with a strong track record of working with customer behaviour data and translating it into product decisions.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing, optimising, and validating queries, building data models, and participating in code reviews.
Strong knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and experience with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Postgres, or Redshift.
Comfortable designing and ana
