Senior Resource Planning & Performance Manager

Liverpool / Hybrid (One day per week on site)

£695 per day (Inside IR35)

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Resource Planning & Performance Manager to support a major transformation programme within a complex public sector organisation. This is not purely a strategic PMO role. We need someone who can personally build and embed resource management and capacity planning capability using Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or Microsoft Planner, creating the tooling, processes and reporting needed to provide a clear view of demand, capacity, resource utilisation and delivery priorities.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Programme Management and Delivery teams to establish consistent planning and performance practices, automate portfolio reporting, and train teams to use the tooling and processes effectively.

We're looking for experience in

Hands-on Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or Microsoft Planner

Building resource and capacity management solutions

Resource forecasting, demand management and utilisation

Creating portfolio planning and reporting capability from scratch

Power BI dashboards and reporting automation

Dependency management, governance and portfolio controls

Training and coaching users on new tools and processes

Turning complex portfolio data into meaningful insight for senior decision-makers

Please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates practical examples of resource management using Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft Planner, particularly tooling or solutions you have personally built, configured and implemented.
