Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer | £550p/day (Inside IR35) | 3 days on site in London | 6 months | Arista 7150 and Cisco , Low latency

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a critical network refresh programme supporting financial exchange. Experience working in trading/low latency exchange is a necessity.

You'll be responsible for replacing and migrating approximately 60 end of life Arista 7150 and Cisco switches, working within tightly controlled weekend change windows.

Rate: £550p/day (Inside IR35) Location: 3 days on site in London Length: 6 months Key Responsibilities

Lead the replacement and migration of approximately 60 Arista 7150 and Cisco switches

Apply and validate customised switch configurations with a high degree of accuracy

Manage external connectivity to financial exchanges and extranet environments

Configure and troubleshoot BGP and multicast routing within live trading environments

Deliver all migration and change activity with zero downtime

Key Experience Required

Strong hands-on Arista experience, specifically the Arista 7150 series

Experience with firewalls in complex network environments

Strong extranet connectivity experience

Strong production-level BGP and multicast knowledge
