Senior Finance Business Partner / Manchester (Hybrid) / Salary £85,000 + benefits

Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a growing, acquisitive services group to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner.

This is a highly visible and commercially focused role, reporting directly to the Group Financial Director and working closely with senior operational and executive stakeholders across a key division of the business.

The position offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional finance, acting as a true strategic partner to the leadership team. You will play a central role in driving financial performance, influencing decision-making, challenging assumptions and delivering insight that supports sustainable growth.

With the business continuing through a period of expansion and transformation, this role will also be instrumental in supporting the integration of recently acquired entities, improving financial visibility and helping to establish a consistent approach to reporting, forecasting and performance management across the group.

The Opportunity

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be the key financial adviser to a significant business area, translating financial information into meaningful commercial insight and helping leaders make informed strategic decisions.

You will influence outcomes across revenue growth, profitability, resource planning, pricing strategy and operational performance, whilst supporting the business through continued growth and change.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to drive commercial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Act as a trusted adviser, providing insight, challenge and recommendations to improve business outcomes.

Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.

Deliver high-quality financial modelling and scenario analysis to support key business decisions.

Own performance reporting, providing clear analysis, commentary and actionable recommendations.

Drive understanding of revenue, margins, costs and operational KPIs across the business.

Support resource planning and utilisation analysis to maximise profitability and efficiency.

Play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment of financial reporting, processes and performance measures.

Identify opportunities to improve financial visibility and enhance management information.

Influence and support pricing, investment and growth initiatives.

Contribute to finance transformation, systems improvement and continuous improvement projects.

Key Skills

We are looking for a commercially astute finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and operating at the heart of the business.

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

Experience within a Senior Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager, FP&A Manager or similar role.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insight.

Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at executive level.

Experience presenting financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership teams.

Desirable

Experience supporting significant business growth, transformation or integration programmes.

Exposure to acquisitions, mergers or post-deal integration activity.

Experience improving reporting, systems or performance frameworks.

Background within a complex, fast-paced and multi-entity environment.
