Our client, a leader in their market, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to drive forecasting transformation, enhance business performance analysis, and deliver meaningful financial insight across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to lead process improvements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst

Lead the review, development and enhancement of forecasting and budgeting models across the business.

Deliver insightful analysis on key business trends, performance drivers, risks and opportunities.

Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives through detailed financial and operational analysis.

Review and improve cost allocation methodologies to ensure accurate reporting and commercial transparency.

Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide robust financial insight and challenge assumptions.

Support strategic projects and business transformation initiatives.

Produce meaningful management information and performance reporting to support decision-making.

Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and controls.

Develop and maintain analytical tools and models to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.

Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership teams.

Key essentials of the Senior Financial Analyst

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx or similar analytical tools.

Demonstrable track record of delivering process improvements and driving efficiencies.
