We're working with a growing Financial Services business looking for a commercially-minded Senior Finance Analyst who can do more than report the numbers. They want someone who can spot trends, identify what's driving performance, and turn complex financial data into a narrative that influences business decisions. This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to senior leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Building and enhancing financial models that support strategic decision-making

Analysing large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Turning financial performance into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes

Partnering with teams across the business to understand performance drivers

Helping leaders answer not just "what happened?" but "why did it happen?" and "what happens next?"

Driving improvements in reporting, analysis and business intelligence

What We're Looking For

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a strong finalist

Financial Services experience is essential

Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability

Experience working with large datasets and complex analysis

Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively

Strong stakeholder management and emotional intelligence

Naturally curious, commercial and proactive in your approach

Nice to Have

VBA experience

Database creation, querying or data extraction experience

SQL or similar analytical tools
