Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead a major European industry event and oversee a year-round programme of smaller community events.

This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll be close to everything from planning and suppliers to build and on-site delivery. Your job will be to ensure everything runs smoothly when it matters most.

B2B large-scale event experience is essential. The flagship event spans multiple days and venues, attracting thousands of attendees. It’s evolving into something bigger and more ambitious each year, and you’ll have a significant influence on its design and atmosphere, not just its execution.

The rest of the year involves maintaining momentum with smaller events that keep the community connected and engaged between the major events.

You’ll work closely with another Events Manager, sharing workload and covering each other. Together, you’ll run things as a tight team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Pulling together large-scale live events from early planning through to breakdown.

- Collaborating with venues, suppliers, production teams, and contractors.

- Shaping layouts, flow, and on-site experience.

- Keeping budgets under control and suppliers moving.

- Being on-site during build and live days when things are fast-paced and chaotic.

- Running smaller community events throughout the year.

- Working with internal teams on communications, registration, and attendee experience.

You’ll likely be a good fit if you’ve spent over four years running large live events or conferences. You’ve owned events end-to-end, not just supported delivery. You’re comfortable juggling many moving parts without losing control of the details. You’re familiar with suppliers, budgets, and problem-solving on the day. You can stay calm when plans change, as they will. You enjoy working in small teams where everyone gets stuck in.
