This is an opportunity to join a high-profile greenfield platform programme within a large enterprise software environment. You'll play a key role in shaping a secure, scalable cloud platform from the ground up, helping establish best practices, security guardrails, and modern DevOps capabilities that will support enterprise clients worldwide.

They are a global technology organisation investing heavily in the development of a next-generation cloud platform within their Environmental Health & Safety product portfolio. The programme is focused on building a modern, enterprise-grade solution using cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture. As the platform evolves, there is potential for the wider engineering function to expand, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment for contractors to make a lasting impact.

The Role and Deliverables

Design, implement, and support secure CI/CD pipelines for a cloud-native platform.

Develop and maintain Terraform and Infrastructure as Code solutions to support platform scalability and consistency.

Build and optimise Kubernetes-based environments on Azure.

Define and implement enterprise-level security guardrails across infrastructure and application delivery processes.

Support a microservices-based architecture, ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Drive code review practices and automated security validation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your Skills & Experience

Strong experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer within enterprise environments.

Proven capability delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.

Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.

Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of cloud security, compliance controls, and secure engineering practices.

Experience implementing automated security checks and secure code review processes.

Familiarity with microservices-based platforms and modern cloud-native architectures.

Ability to work effectively with engineering teams to embed DevSecOps best practices.
