Senior DevSecOps Engineer – GCP
A high-growth technology company is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen cloud and platform security across the organisation. You’ll work closely with development, product and cloud teams to drive security culture, shape roadmaps and embed secure engineering practices.
This is a hands-on, standalone role with real ownership — they’re not expecting someone who is 100% GCP-focused, but they do need a cloud engineer with recent DevSecOps experience and solid exposure to GCP alongside AWS or Azure.
What You’ll Do
Strengthen cloud security across GCP infrastructure
Build automated security guardrails into CI/CD pipelines
Drive security culture and help shape engineering roadmaps
Support company-wide security initiatives, including AI policy governance
Implement and manage security tooling across cloud, Kubernetes and pipelines
Work closely with dev and cloud teams to embed secure-by-design practices
Act as a security champion, helping teams adopt secure patterns and improve delivery confidence
What You’ll Bring
Cloud engineering background with recent DevSecOps experience
Exposure to GCP (IAM, networking, security controls)
Kubernetes security experience (GKE/EKS/AKS)
Strong IaC skills (Terraform/OpenTofu)
Experience with security tooling (Aqua, Falco, Prisma, Checkov, Trivy, OPA etc.)
Scripting/automation skills (Python, Golang or Shell)
Ability to influence teams and drive security culture forward
Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the London office
If you’re passionate about secure cloud engineering and want to make a real impact in a scaling FinTech, we’d love to hear from you.
