What the day will look like

Your days will be varied but will likely include

Working on developing our product by writing code, testing, debugging, analysing, reviewing and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle

Working with other developers, actuaries, devops and other teams to ensure successful delivery of software

Providing support to both internal and external stakeholders

Supporting and potentially leading product deployments

Contributing to architecture, process and quality improvement discussions

Engaging in ongoing professional development

NET Backend web development

SQL Server / Azure SQL

Unit testing, e.g. xUnit

Security & authentication

Good to have

Experience leading or guiding junior colleagues

Containerised application development

Cloud (Azure or equivalent)

Scalable deployment experience

Modern UI web framework experience (Angular or equivalent)

Distributed message queue

System / E2E testing
