Senior Community Manager
Skills & Technologies
Job Description
We are looking for someone to own and build our community and creator ecosystem, not just manage social engagement.
This role is responsible for turning customers and creators into an active network that consistently drives content, advocacy, and repeat engagement.
You will have full ownership of how community operates within the business.
What You Will Own
1. Community Function
Own all inbound and outbound community interaction across platforms
Set the standard for how the brand engages — tone, speed, and quality
Build a community that actively participates, not just consumes
2. Creator & Ambassador Ecosystem (Core Focus)
Build and manage a structured creator network (not ad hoc gifting)
Identify, recruit, and develop creators into consistent contributors
Maintain ongoing relationships and improve creator output over time
Track performance and identify top contributors
3. UGC System
Build a repeatable system for sourcing and using user-generated content
Ensure a consistent flow of usable content into the social team
Move beyond reposting — create structure and predictability
4. Community-Led Campaigns
Plan and execute initiatives that drive participation (not just reach)
Support launches with community-first thinking
Create formats that encourage ongoing engagement
5. Customer Insight
Identify patterns in feedback, objections, and sentiment
Feed insights into marketing and product teams
Act as the internal voice of the customer
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You have personally managed or built a creator / ambassador / influencer network
You have worked in a consumer brand (preferably ecom)
You have been responsible for engagement or community growth, not just posting content
You understand how to turn creators and customers into repeat contributors
You are comfortable owning both strategy and execution
This Role Is Not For
Pure social media managers focused on scheduling and posting
Candidates without hands-on experience working with creators
Agency-only profiles with no ownership of community outcomes
Anyone looking for a purely executional role
What Success Looks Like
A structured, active creator network producing consistent content
High-quality engagement (not just volume) across platforms
Reliable flow of UGC supporting marketing output
Clear improvement in community participation and retention
