Job Description

Our client is a leading international professional services firm that advises major global organisations on complex commercial matters. The firm is recognised for its collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and client-focused approach.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded CRM/business development professional to join a high-performing team. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting strategic client programmes, enhancing client engagement initiatives, and driving business development activities across key accounts.

This position focuses on two key areas

1. Supporting and coordinating the firm's client feedback programme.

2. Providing business development support to strategic client teams and key client accounts.

The role requires close collaboration with colleagues across the commercial function and offers exposure to senior stakeholders and high-profile client relationships.

Working alongside senior client engagement leadership, responsibilities include

• Providing programme management support, including progress tracking, stakeholder communications, client liaison, interview pipeline management, and follow-up actions.

• Assisting with the production of management reports highlighting client feedback trends and performance metrics.

• Supporting client interviewers and participating in client interviews, with the opportunity to develop independent interviewing capabilities over time.

• Preparing presentations and reporting materials for partners and client team leaders.

• Promoting and championing the client feedback programme across the business.

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting data within CRM and related systems.

Client Development Support

Working closely with client relationship leaders and commercial stakeholders, responsibilities include:

• Supporting a portfolio of strategic client teams and ensuring projects are delivered in line with broader business objectives.

• Managing communications, reporting, analysis, and progress monitoring for client teams.

• Coordinating client liaison activities and managing client panel reporting requirements.

• Supporting responses to panel reviews, pitches, proposals, and presentations through the development of high-quality written materials.

• Assisting with client-focused marketing and business development initiatives, including seminars, sponsorships, networking events, and client engagement activities.

• Supporting budget tracking and ROI analysis for client development initiatives.

• Undertaking additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Experience

• 4–5 years' experience in CRM or business development

• Experience within a professional services environment is highly desirable, ideally within a legal or other global partnership setting.

• Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently.

• Strong understanding of marketing and business development principles within professional services.

• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

• Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
