Overview

This is a Senior Business Analyst opportunity sitting within a growing AI-enabled transformation environment. The role focuses on helping organisations understand how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly and effectively to improve services, processes and decision-making. The successful candidate will lead workshops, analyse business problems, assess AI opportunities and design future-state processes that support transformation outcomes. This is not a traditional requirements gathering role. The team is looking for an individual who can challenge stakeholders, facilitate complex conversations and translate emerging AI opportunities into practical business improvements.

Hiring Manager Insight

They are seeking somebody who is comfortable standing behind their recommendations and operating independently. Workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and the ability to articulate both the opportunities and limitations of AI are considered critical.

The team does not want theoretical knowledge alone; they want evidence of practical application and measurable outcomes.

Role Summary

Lead business analysis activity across AI-enabled transformation initiatives

Facilitate stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions

Assess AI opportunities and limitations

Support future-state process design

Translate business needs into practical recommendations

Key Responsibilities

Conduct discovery and business analysis activities

Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and delivery teams

Map current and future-state processes

Assess AI use cases and transformation opportunities

Gather, validate and prioritise business requirements

Support change and transformation initiatives

Translate findings into actionable recommendations

AI & Digital Transformation Environment

Focus on AI enabled transformation rather than traditional BA activities

Exploration of AI use cases and operational opportunities

Support organisational change and process redesign

Bridge business needs and emerging technology opportunities

What We're Looking For

Strong Senior Business Analysis experience

Workshop facilitation expertise

Process mapping capability

AI awareness and understanding

Strong stakeholder management and engagement

Confidence operating independently

AI Use Cases & Opportunity Assessment

Understanding of AI opportunities and constraints

Ability to evaluate practical business use cases

Experience supporting transformation initiatives involving AI

Ability to explain AI concepts to non-technical audiences

Government Experience

Government or public-sector experience highly desirable

Understanding public-sector operating environments will aid transition

Experience delivering transformation within regulated environments beneficial
