Job Description

As a Senior BMS Engineer at Honeywell, in London and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), re-active calls, out of hours support to customers on their BMS. This is a field based role with travel expected to customer sites in and around the London area and further afield as required.

Key responsibilities

Operate, Maintain and Interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems

Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects

Modify and Interrogate BMS Software programs, strategies, and systems

Continually ensure all Energy Saving measures for all Building Services are monitored and modified accordingly

Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites

Key skills and qualifications

Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with strong knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems ideally systems built on the Niagara framework

Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus

A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments

Ability to trouble shoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively on complex and advanced systems

Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships.
