In this role, you will take take ownership of advanced and complex accounting tasks, ensuring the seamless execution of financial operations. This role acts as a key resource in solving escalated issues, streamlining processes, and providing insights to optimize the accounting workflow. The Senior Accounting Coordinator will also mentor junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert on critical finance operations, contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

Handle complex invoice processing tasks, including three-way matching for high-value or disputed invoices.

Investigate and resolve escalations from suppliers or procurement teams, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.

Identify inefficiencies within accounting processes and propose solutions to streamline workflows.

Enforce and refine financial controls related to inventory, accounts payable, and month-end reporting.

Perform detailed reconciliations of high-volume accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

Generate and analyze advanced reports on accounts payable status, supplier performance, and financial compliance.

Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure the timely completion of close activities.

Serve as a point of contact for procurement, finance
