As a Financial Accountant in Huddersfield, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, compliance and supporting the business with key financial insights. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within this business in the manufacturing industry.

A large complex group business based in Huddersfield.
Description
Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Oversee reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Manage and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Profile
A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Offer
Competitive salary between £45,000 and £52,000, dependent on the level of experience.
