Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Coventry (Hybrid) Salary up to £45,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience level)

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who's got an amazing opportunity for a Senior Accountant who has a passion for corporate tax. You will take ownership of a portfolio focused mainly on corporate accounts and corporation tax returns.

Role Requirements -

Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.

Drafting corporation tax computations and CT600s.

Managing a portfolio of corporate clients.

Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.

Reviewing work prepared by junior team members where required.

Supporting students and contributing to workflow management.

The role will also include the preparation of management accounts and other ad-hoc assignments to support the firm's advisory services.

The work is predominantly corporate focused, not personal tax heavy.

Personal Requirements -

Minimum 3 years' experience in UK accountancy practice.

AAT qualified minimum.

ACA or ACCA students actively studying will be considered.

The ideal candidate will not only come with a passion for traditional accounting but also for real-time reporting to aid meaningful conversations with clients.

Strong experience preparing corporate accounts.

Experience drafting corporation tax returns.
