What will you be doing?
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of ambitious owner-managed businesses, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering a high-quality, commercially focused service.
Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, trusted relationships
Preparing and delivering meaningful management information
Helping clients understand their financial performance and make informed business decisions
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Overseeing VAT returns and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
Using Xero and other cloud-accounting tools to improve processes and provide useful insight
Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members where appropriate
Maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism and client service
What are we looking for?
This opportunity would suit a newly qualified or qualified accountant who has developed a strong technical foundation within an accountancy practice and is ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and advisory work.
A newly qualified or qualified ACA or ACCA
Relevant experience gained within an accountancy practice
Strong experience preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Experience producing management information and explaining financial performance to clients
Strong knowledge of Xero and cloud-accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of deadlines
A genuine interest in how businesses operate and grow
A confident, professional and personable approach
