This Senior Account Manager opportunity would suit a strong commercial insurance professional who enjoys the client side, knows the market and wants a genuine leadership role.
The opportunity
You'll manage a client services team while staying hands-on with renewals, MTAs and new business. It is a broad role with real influence across service, standards and team performance.
What you'll be doing
Lead and support a team to deliver against KPIs and service standards
Manage workloads, absence and day-to-day resource planning
Oversee renewals, MTAs and new business enquiries
Prepare insurer submissions and negotiate terms, premium and income
Review market feedback and present suitable recommendations to clients
Provide ongoing advice and arrange cover in line with client instructions
Ensure accurate documentation, strong record keeping and FCA-compliant processes
Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues
Support debt management and flag any market or service concerns
Who this could suit
An experienced Commercial Broker stepping into a bigger leadership role
A current Senior Account Manager looking for a stronger platform
Someone who can balance people management with technical broking expertise
Dip CII or ACII qualified, or working towards it, would be an advantage
