Semi Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice – Altrincham

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

We’re working with a well-established firm in the Altrincham area that is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who is keen to continue their professional development while working with a diverse client portfolio.

The role

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts

Supporting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting queries

Liaising with HMRC and supporting senior accountants with ad hoc tasks

Developing client relationships and providing excellent service

About you

Part-qualified ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
