Yes, you’ll be preparing year-end accounts. But this is not a “sit in the corner and churn through files” type of position.

The role

You’ll be joining as a Semi Senior Accountant and will work with a varied portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and supporting the wider team with client work.

Your role will include

Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients

Working with modern cloud-based systems and technology

Supporting clients with queries and helping them understand their numbers

Preparing corporation tax computations

Assisting with management accounts and wider advisory work where appropriate

Building strong relationships with clients

Working closely with senior colleagues and the firm’s owner

Developing your technical, commercial and advisory skills

The firm wants someone who is keen to learn, improve and become a bigger part of the business over time.
