Key Responsibilities
Prepare accounts for a portfolio of clients
Manage client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of work
Prepare and review bookkeeping and VAT returns
Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and gather information
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Support the development of junior colleagues through guidance and feedback
Work closely with tax and other teams to support compliance and advisory work
Begin to identify risks, inefficiencies, or areas for process improvement
To be considered for the role you will need a minimum of 18 months experience at a UK firm of accountants; ideally working in year end accounting.
You must be confident, keen to learn and most importantly someone that takes real pride in what they do.
