We are recruiting on behalf of a client in the food industry for a Sales Representative. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and possesses excellent organisational skills.

Annual Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Coventry - Must have a full UK driving license

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling high weekly volumes and fluctuating prices. This role is ideal for someone who is resilient, organised, and comfortable with heavy outbound calling.

Day-to-day of the role

Conduct heavy outbound calling, prospecting both new and existing customers.

Ask structured qualifying questions to understand customer needs regarding beef products, volumes, and packaging preferences.

Generate leads for the sales team, targeting approximately 50–100 prospects at a time.

Support sales order processing and credit control with administration.

Handle customer complaints efficiently (experience in this area is desirable).

Utilise the internal CRM system to track interactions and maintain customer data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Confident and comfortable with extensive phone use, as this is a core part of the role.

Resilient and able to handle repetitive, high-pressure work.

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

Bubbly and social personality with excellent communication skills.

Ability to follow clear processes and ask probing questions.

Open to working in a meat-processing environment, comfortable with the presence of meat carcasses onsite.

Ideally someone eager to learn and build a career in sales.
