Reed Business Support in Bath is looking for a Sales Merchandiser for a highly successful and growing brand with offices in the South West.
This is a permanent role
£28,000 - £32,000 + bonus & benefits
4% pension contribution, 4 x’s death in service, access to the staff shop, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays)
The purpose of this role is to conduct consumer sampling activity within Off-Trade accounts, building brand awareness and driving sales through engaging, high-quality customer interactions. The role will also support ad hoc consumer events and trade shows.
This position is ideal for an energetic, relationship-driven individual with a passion for a quality brand and a desire to help grow a brand nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with Off-Trade store managers
Secure in-store sampling opportunities within retail locations
Proactively book and manage regular sampling sessions within supermarkets
Product Promotion & Brand Activation
Deliver engaging product sampling experiences to consumers
Educate customers on the unique qualities and benefits of the cider range
Organise and execute tasting events and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and trial
Represent the brand professionally at all times, including at trade shows and consumer events
Territory Management
Manage a nationwide schedule of store visits, sampling events, and activations
Plan routes and diary efficiently to maximise coverage and productivity
Reporting
Provide regular feedback and reports on
Sampling activity and outcomes
Customer and retailer feedback
Market insights and opportunities
Track and report against KPIs and productivity metrics
Experience
Previous field sales, brand ambassador, or consumer-facing promotional experience
Proven ability to quickly build relationships in B2B and/or B2C environments
Experience working independently and managing a territory
Background in FMCG, drinks, food, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential
