Sales Development Managers

Location: Hybrid Reading/London & Remote opportunities

Start date: June/July start

About the Opportunities: Clarify are recruiting on behalf of a number of growing organisations across a range of industries, including the technology sector. Our clients are looking for ambitious, commercially minded individuals to join their sales teams and play a key role in driving business growth.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, generating qualified opportunities, and supporting the wider sales function by building a strong pipeline of potential business.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a career in sales, business development, account management, or the wider commercial sector. Key Responsibilities:

B2B Lead Generation: Research and identify prospective customers through a variety of channels, including online research, outbound calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.

Prospect Outreach: Engage with potential customers to introduce products and services, understand business needs, and arrange meetings or next steps with relevant stakeholders.

Lead Qualification:Assess and qualify opportunities based on customer requirements, budget, decision-making process, and overall fit before progressing them through the sales pipeline.

Client Communication: Communicate value propositions effectively and build credibility with prospective customers through professional and consultative conversations.

PerformanceTracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activity and performance, including calls, emails, meetings, pipeline progression, and conversion metrics.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

Learning & Development: Continually develop product knowledge, sales skills, and commercial awareness through training, coaching, and self-development.

Skills & Experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commercially aware with an interest in business, sales, and technology

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with stakeholders

Comfortable using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools

Strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities

Results-driven with a proactive and positive attitude

Previous sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, recruitment, or business development experience is advantageous but not essential
