As a Record to Report Assistant Accountant, you will immerse yourself in the heart of the organisation's global finance operations. Your daily responsibilities will revolve around executing transactional activities with precision while supporting critical month-end and year-end closing processes. You will be entrusted with upholding data integrity through diligent reconciliations and careful adherence to compliance requirements.
Execute day-to-day transactional activities within the global record-to-report process, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
Support both month-end and year-end close activities by preparing reconciliations, processing journal entries, and maintaining data quality throughout the reporting cycle.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements meticulously while escalating any exceptions or discrepancies to senior team members as needed.
Maintain high standards of data integrity by regularly reviewing financial information for accuracy and completeness, contributing to reliable financial reporting.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across different functions and countries to improve service delivery and ensure alignment with global finance standards.

The ideal candidate for the Record to Report Assistant Accountant position brings proven experience from similar roles within global finance environments where attention to detail was crucial. Your background includes exposure to record-to-report cycles, familiarity with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics F&O (or equivalent), and a solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles. You possess strong organisational capabilities which allow you to juggle competing demands without compromising on quality.
Demonstrate experience of 1-3 years working within global record-to-report processes or similar finance roles where accuracy was paramount.
A basic understanding of core finance processes including reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance requirements gained through previous employment or academic study.
Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable; experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance is preferred though candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
