Remote-only UK roles consolidated significantly post-2022 as many "remote" jobs reclassified to hybrid. The genuinely remote-by-default pool is dominated by venture-backed startups (Buffer, GitLab, Automattic) and a smaller set of UK scale-ups (Monzo selectively, GoCardless for some teams).

Finance analyst roles split between FP&A (forward-looking planning), reporting/controlling and corporate finance/M&A. The UK tech/scale-up market has expanded these roles significantly — a finance analyst at a £100M-revenue SaaS works very differently from one at a Big 4 firm.
