Remote-only UK roles consolidated significantly post-2022 as many "remote" jobs reclassified to hybrid. The genuinely remote-by-default pool is dominated by venture-backed startups (Buffer, GitLab, Automattic) and a smaller set of UK scale-ups (Monzo selectively, GoCardless for some teams).

.NET / C# roles in the UK skew heavily toward enterprise (banking, insurance, public sector) plus a meaningful pocket of consumer SaaS still on .NET. Pay is a touch lower than Node/Go equivalents at peer scale, but UK enterprise contract day-rates for senior C# devs are among the highest in tech (£500–800/day).
