Revenue Accounting Manager

Annual Salary: £65000-£85000

Location: London, hybrid/remote working

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of revenue reporting across our global, multi-entity SaaS organisation. This hands-on leadership role requires a blend of technical accounting depth and strong commercial awareness, operating within a PE-backed environment. The successful candidate will own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and partner closely with global Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A teams.

Day-to-day of the role

Own end-to-end revenue accounting for various arrangements across multiple legal entities and geographies.

Ensure consistent application of IFRS 15, managing local statutory nuances.

Review global customer contracts and amendments for performance obligations and consistent accounting treatment.

Maintain audit-ready revenue policies, documentation, and accounting memos.

Partner with global Sales Operations, Deal Desk, and Legal teams on deal structuring to ensure revenue is recognisable, scalable, and compliant.

Oversee deferred revenue, contract assets, and liabilities across regions.

Coordinate revenue reporting inputs from international entities for timely, accurate consolidation.

Act as the primary global revenue contact for external auditors, quality of earnings reviews, and due diligence processes.

Own and optimise revenue accounting workflows across global ERP and billing systems, driving standardisation and automation.

Partner with FP&A to align recognised revenue with key business metrics and support pricing, packaging, and GTM changes by assessing revenue recognition implications upfront.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)

7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting within a global SaaS or recurring revenue software business.

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 15, including multi-element and multi-currency contracts.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or equivalent ERP) and subscription billing architectures.

Detail-oriented with strong judgment and the confidence to challenge commercial deal structures.

Comfortable operating across time zones with multiple stakeholders.

Process-driven, scalable mindset with a focus on automation and control.

Clear, pragmatic communicator able to partner with both technical and commercial teams.
