We’re working with a leading national removals and storage provider looking to appoint a Sales Surveyor to join their growing team.
The Role
This is a field-based sales position where you’ll visit customers in their homes or businesses, assess their removal requirements, and provide tailored quotes.
You’ll play a key role in converting enquiries into booked business — combining consultative selling with accurate surveying.
Key Responsibilities
Attend customer appointments (domestic, commercial & international moves)
Conduct detailed surveys and create tailored removal plans
Provide accurate quotations using internal systems
Convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings
Compete effectively against other providers to win business
Proactively generate new opportunities and target accounts
Manage relationships with new and existing customers
Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations
Contribute to local sales strategy and branch growth
What We’re Looking For
Removals industry experience (ideal – especially if looking to step into surveying)
OR strong field sales experience in a consultative, face-to-face environment
Experience quoting for work and closing deals
A track record of working towards targets and KPIs
Confidence presenting solutions in customers’ homes or businesses
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
Good IT skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
A proactive and self-motivated approach
