Job Description

My client, a fast-paced retail business based in London, is seeking an experienced Reconciliations Analyst to join their finance team on a 3-month contract. This is a critical role supporting the business through the transition from NetSuite to Xero, ensuring financial records remain accurate and reconciled throughout the ERP migration process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts.

Investigate and resolve historical and current reconciliation discrepancies.

Support the migration of financial data from NetSuite to Xero.

Validate data integrity before, during, and after system migration.

Work closely with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure a smooth ERP transition.

Assist with month-end processes and provide reconciliation reporting to key stakeholders.

Document reconciliation procedures and support process improvements.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in a reconciliations-focused finance role.

Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite (essential).

Excellent attention to detail and investigative skills.

Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation techniques.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Desirable

Experience using Xero.

Previous experience within retail, e-commerce, or consumer-facing businesses.

Professional finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
