Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that our site operations are consistently carried out in compliance with the Quality Management System. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products manufactured and packed are safe, legal, and meet product specifications. The Quality Assurance Manager will also lead the proactive development of the Quality Management System, identifying and implementing opportunities for continual improvement.
Develop and manage the Quality Management System.
Continually assess site operations against the Quality Management System, reporting on compliance, non-compliance, and areas for improvement.
Lead and manage the QA team, fostering a skilled and efficient team environment.
Inspect and sign off on completed works order documentation to ensure compliance with specifications.
Manage the internal audit schedule, ensuring all audits are completed on time and documented, with corrective actions closed out efficiently.
Handle quality incidents such as consumer complaints, non-conformances, and deviations, ensuring thorough investigation and maintenance of complaint files.
Conduct trend analysis and communicate findings to key personnel.
Lead the HACCP team and collaborate with the Production Manager to promote a culture committed to continual improvement.
Maintain and enhance customer confidence in the quality of products and processes.
Proven experience in Quality Assurance within a relevant industry.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a Quality Assurance team.
In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems and compliance requirements.
Experience with HACCP and BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team towards achieving operational excellence.
