Quality & Compliance Assessor
Direct Redress | Knutsford, Cheshire | Full Time, Permanent | [On-site]
£28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
About the Role
This is not your average quality checking job. This is a role where your sharp eye and attention to detail directly protects consumers and helps deliver real financial outcomes for real people.
Direct Redress is one of the UK's longest established financial redress businesses, operating within an FCA regulated group structure. Since our founding we have recovered over £100 million for consumers who were mis-sold financial products, and we continue to grow. We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Assessor to join our team, someone who takes genuine pride in getting things right and can work at pace without letting standards slip.
There is no management responsibility attached to this role. Just a focused, important position where your skills will genuinely matter from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and quality checking outgoing client correspondence before dispatch, ensuring accuracy, clarity, tone and compliance with FCA guidelines
Identifying errors, inconsistencies or areas for improvement and providing clear, constructive feedback to the team
Maintaining high standards across a fast-moving, volume-driven operation
Working within an FCA regulated framework to ensure all client communications meet the required standard
Acting as a key line of quality control in a business where getting things right genuinely matters
What We're Looking For
We are not looking for a compliance manager or regulatory specialist as we have that expertise in place. What we need is someone who:
Has an exceptional eye for detail and consistently notices things others miss
Can work at pace and manage a steady volume of work without compromising on quality
Has a working understanding of the FCA consumer credit environment, for example from experience in a bank or financial services business where you were authorising credit, processing regulated correspondence or advising customers on financial products
Is comfortable reading and critically assessing formal financial correspondence
Is reliable, conscientious and takes genuine pride in doing things to a high standard
A background in banking, financial services customer service or credit processing is ideal. The right attitude and a demonstrable eye for detail will always be weighted heavily.
Package and Benefits
Salary of £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
Bonus incentives rewarding quality and output
A focused role with no management pressure
The backing of one of the UK's most established names in financial redress, with over £100 million recovered for consumers
A supportive, professional working environment
Based in Knutsford, Cheshire, commutable across the North West
