Description

Preparation of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of properties.

Production and review of property income and expenditure reports.

Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.

Service charge accounting, including budgeting, reconciliations and year-end processes.

Rent roll analysis and revenue reconciliations.

Preparation of statutory and audit information as required.

Liaising with property managers, asset managers and external stakeholders.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activities.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and processes.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have

Proven experience working as a Property Accountant.

Strong understanding of property accounting principles, including service charge accounting.

Experience managing property portfolios within a commercial, residential or mixed-use environment.

Excellent month-end and management accounting skills.

Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large volumes of financial data.

Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines within an interim assignment.

Job Offer

A competitive daily rate ranging from £180 to £220, depending on experience.
