Project Accountant

Interim Project Accountant | Events & Production | Immediate Start | £40-45k or £20-25ph Central London | 1-3 Month Contract | Immediate Start

We're partnering with a fast-growing creative production business that delivers high-profile events and experiences globally.

They need an experienced Project Accountant to join the team on a short-term basis, helping manage project finances, supplier payments, client invoicing and project reconciliations during a busy delivery period. The Role Working closely with production teams and the Finance Director, you'll ensure project finances are accurate, up to date and running smoothly across multiple live projects.

Key responsibilities include

Project budget tracking and reconciliations

Managing project costs and supplier payments

Client invoicing and revenue tracking

Cashflow forecasting and reporting

Accounts payable and receivable processing

Intercompany reconciliations

Supporting month-end activities

Working with project teams to improve financial processes and reporting

About You You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Project Accountant, Management Accountant or Finance Manager

Strong project-based accounting experience

Experience working in events, production, creative, agency, media or similar project-led environments

Good understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations and cashflow management

Excellent stakeholder management skills

The ability to hit the ground running and work independently

Experience with QuickBooks would be beneficial but isn't essential. What's On Offer?
