Robert Half is recruiting for a Project Accountant to join a leading global professional services organisation during a major finance transformation.
This role will lead the design, standardisation, and implementation of global budgeting and forecasting processes across a newly integrated business. Working closely with Finance, IT, Data, and senior stakeholders, you will help deliver scalable, efficient, and data-driven planning processes supported by new systems and technologies. Key responsibilities:
Define the global target operating model for budgeting and forecasting
Design standardised end-to-end planning processes across business units
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve planning activity
Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and implementation teams to align process and system design
Ensure alignment across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation
Own global process standards, governance, and documentation
Support training, communication, adoption, and transition to business-as-usual
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
Strong experience leading budgeting and forecasting transformation in a large global organisation
Deep understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario planning, and driver-based planning
Experience in finance transformation and ERP/EPM implementation programmes
Strong stakeholder management and senior executive engagement experience
Knowledge of systems such as D365, OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), or Workday Adaptive Planning
