Production Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a fast-growing building products manufacturing business. Growth has created a need for an experienced Production/Factory Manager to take ownership of manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity to shape how the factory runs as the business scales. You'll be given the autonomy to run the factory, drive production targets, hold quality standards, and lead a team of skilled workers.

Role duties

Run daily factory operations to hit production targets while maintaining quality.

Build and roll out new production procedures that make the best use of people and resources.

Lead, train and mentor the team to drive productivity and keep morale high.

Monitor production processes and equipment performance, spotting improvement opportunities before they become issues. Own health and safety compliance across the factory floor.

Run regular inspections to keep the facility clean and organised.

Drive Health & Safety standards

Work closely with logistics, quality assurance and maintenance to keep operations joined up.

Report on production metrics, workforce performance and inventory levels to senior management.

Experience required

Proven experience as a Production or Factory Manager within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of production processes, quality control and health and safety regulations.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate both yourself and the teams..

Confidence using manufacturing software for scheduling and inventory management.

Sharp analytical skills, able to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.

Experience introducing and monitoring new procedures in the workplace.

This is a fantastic opportunity to run a factory autonomously, reporting back into the Managing Director.
