Product Manager

Our client is looking for a hands-on Product Manager to help manage and improve a portfolio of products and services within a regulated financial services environment.

You will work closely with product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing and customer-facing teams to monitor product performance, deliver good customer outcomes and support continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Manage a range of products and services, ensuring they continue to deliver value, growth and good customer outcomes.

Monitor product performance using data, insight and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas of risk.

Lead competitor and market research to inform product priorities and future enhancements.

Act as a product subject matter expert, supporting product owners, delivery teams and business readiness activity.

Support product governance, including reporting on customer outcomes, product performance, target market, value and risk.

Work with technical, compliance and legal teams to ensure products, literature and customer communications remain accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide third-line product support to sales, operations and customer teams.

About you

Experience in product management within financial services, ideally with platform or discretionary management products.

Strong understanding of product governance, regulation, customer outcomes and product lifecycle management.

Confident using data and insight to assess performance, identify trends and make recommendations.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing and customer teams.

Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences.

Organised and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

A relevant degree or qualification in business, finance, marketing or product development would be beneficial.
