This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing procurement function during an exciting period of development and transformation. The organisation is investing heavily in its procurement capability and is seeking an ambitious procurement professional who can help drive best practice, deliver commercial value and build strong relationships across the business and supplier network.
The successful candidate will manage a broad portfolio of spend categories, work closely with key stakeholders across multiple functions and play an active role in shaping procurement strategy and supplier performance.

Candidates currently working as Buyers, Senior Buyers, Procurement Specialists, Category Specialists, Category Managers or Strategic Sourcing professionals are encouraged to apply. The Role Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of procurement activities across a varied spend portfolio, supporting both operational and strategic business objectives.
This is a commercially focused role that offers significant visibility across the organisation and the opportunity to influence decision-making at multiple levels. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activity across a range of spend categories.
Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead tender, RFx and supplier selection activities.
Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing structures and service levels to deliver commercial value.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships whilst monitoring performance against agreed KPIs.
Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, reviews and supplier audits.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality and IT.
Provide procurement expertise and challenge where appropriate to support business decision-making.
Monitor spend, supplier performance and procurement savings.
Support supply chain risk management activities and supplier diversification initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and governance requirements.
About You We're interested in speaking with commercially minded procurement professionals who enjoy building relationships, influencing stakeholders and driving positive change.
You may currently work within manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, logistics, utilities or another complex commercial environment. We're particularly interested in candidates with:
Experience within procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing or category management.
Exposure to direct materials, indirect spend, engineering, MRO, packaging, logistics, CAPEX, facilities management or professional services categories.
Strong supplier negotiation and contract management capabilities.
Experience leading sourcing, tendering and supplier selection activities.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical problem-solving ability.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.
A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
